Tim Godbold first discovered his passion for design as he pored over the blueprints that his father, an architect, shared with him while he was growing up in Australia. As Tim grew older, his design interests expanded to include fashion, which he went on to study, enjoying a successful career in London, Sydney and New York designing for legends including Ralph Lauren. His own elegant collection was featured in Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar and Elle.
With Timothy Godbold Interiors, Tim turns his design talents to residential living. His clean, modern style mixes vintage and contemporary pieces and is based in the beauty of natural elements and surfaces like wood and stone. Relaxed, sophisticated, comfortable and chic, his spaces are as easy to look at as they are to live in.
Design is a theme throughout Tim’s life today, from his book on the history of military style published recently by Phaidon, to his international travels in search of vintage furniture and inspiring art and architecture.
